The following changes were introduced:
- support for Greek codepage in files system and printouts,
- in Settings menu a new position Information about system has been added.
- In FS2 function set Analysis of manipulation has been added. This function based on analyzing of downloaded speed file from tachograph enables:
- detection of unnaturally rapid changes of speed vehicle,
- detection of brake in driving in the last n minutes.
Analysis of manipulation function is especially useful for control authorities because it can help in detection of any interference in tachograph’s work, for example blocking of motion sensor impulses with a magnet.
Outcome of analysis can be saved as a report in device memory or can be printed for wireless printer
In order to update the TachoDrive3 firmware to its latest version one needs to do the following:
- Identify the hardware version (HW) of TachoDrive3 - see description below.
- Download the firmware by clicking the link above.
- Copy the downloaded file to the main folder of the device.
- Disconnect the TachoDrive3 from the USB port of PC.
- Turn the device off.
- Connect it back to PC again. TachoDrive3 will automaticaly perform the firmware update.
WARNING 1! One must not disconnect the device while updating the firmware as it may damage the TachoDrive3 device!
WARNING 2! Using the wrong firmware will cause displaying a message communicate "Update file is invalid or corrupted. Press any key". One should then press any button, starts TD3 as USB disc and deletes incorrect firmware file.
Hardware version (HW) identification
The number of TachoDrive3 hardware version (HW) is putting at the right top corner of the label which is on the back of the device (see picture below). The number is: v.1.xxx, where xxx means any figures. Lack the above number means version 1.210.
